Wednesday 17th June

This sunny, cloudy, windy day🌥💨, I had no school🏫. I have no school🏫 on Wednesdays to give me a little break. It ends up as a plying with my friends time⏰. It’s better👍 than learning. You get fresh air and have more fun😀 than staying inside all day.

My bike🚲

We even got ice cream🍦 and sweets🍭🍬 today. An ice cream🍦 man 👨‍🦰 comes up⬆️ the street every day. Best of all, he sells Gobstoppers. Mmmmm🤤! I love❤️ eating them with my friends.

I made a picture for all the grandparents.

The picture

I hope🤞 they like it.

I have decided to do an Animal🦍🐬🐘🦐🐖 of the day as well as the rest.

Colour of the day: Tomatoe

Fact of the day:

Animal of the day: Millipede

Millipede

Millipedes get there name from their millions of legs.

Question of the day: How many meters are in a kilometre?

Answer to yesterday’s question: We breathe to get oxygen and to help the making of cells in the body.

Lots of people had good👍 answers to the question. Well done👍!

  1. Hi Jacob
Just reading your blog sat up in bed🛏 Glad you enjoyed your day yesterday. It sounds fun. We have the ice cream🍦 man round our way too. I think he has come more in Lockdown!!👍👍
I remember gobstoppers from my childhood too! I love your picture. Thank you. Although I didn’t get it on my messages like Grandad?👎😥 I think there are a 1000 metres in a kilometre, although I’m not very good at metric measurements. Millipedes are fascinating with all those legs🦠 but a bit too creepy crawly for me. Hope you enjoy school today. Love Grandma xxx

  2. Hi
Colour of the day I like but not keen on animal of the day. There are 1000 metres in a kilometre. Questions for you how many yards in a mile?. I am about to have breakfast and then I am taking Benji for a walk.
