Wednesday 1st July

This sunny, cloudy, windy day🌥💨, I haven’t much to talk about. I thought🤔 I should do a poem as I haven’t done any writing✍️ in ages. So, here it is.

Poem about me:

Joyful, sometimes

Amazing at things, when I try

Clever, if I choose to be

Oh so funny, not all the time

But I am all of those things, not always

Hahahah! A bit of a funny😂 poem there. Ok. One last one

A poem about Eerrmmm

Errrm I think it’s gone away

Right I forgot

Mmmm, Save it for another day

Mmmm, it’s come back to me… no…. no…. it’s gone again.

Hahahaha! Another silly😂 one.🤪

Colour of the day: Pea Green

Animal of the day: Anteater

Fact of the day:

Question of the day: Can you make a poem that has any theme you want? Put it in the comments.

I reckon we breathe about 100,000 times a day.

A little written challenge there.

  1. Hi Jacob
I thought your poems were quite clever. Well done!
I quite often write poems for special family occasions ie Grandad’s 60th & Auntie Helen’s 40th Birthdays🎊! They usually rhyme. This is a quick one about somewhere you know. ‘ The View’
    Boats skim across the bay⛵
    Clouds scud across the sky☁️
Birds are wheeling over the sea🕊
    Benji lies at my feet🐶
A book open on my knee📚
    And a glass of wine🥂
    In my hand
    Peace………….
Hope you like it. I think Anteaters are fascinating animals & I didn’t know the facts about peanuts. Love Grandma xxx

  2. Hi

I could do with an Anteater as we have them on the drive. Can you catch one for me ?
Colour of the day is good.
I was Sailing my RC Laser this morning and this afternoon removing wheel bearings on the boat trailer.

  3. I had heard that before about peanuts , but I had forgotten about it.
Grandma is good at writing poems:

I’m no good at writing a poem
    I don’t have time
    to find words that rhyme
perhaps I should just go home then.

do you think that will win a prize?

It brightens my day when I read your story
It fills my heart with love and glory!!!
Don’t like ants so I must like anteaters. When I was little there was an anthill in the back garden that was higher than the house. My brother and I used to climb it.
