Thursday 30th April

Arrrghh😡! Why isn’t isolation over yet! I am going to burst if it isn’t over soon. I really miss my family and friends. When I can see👀 them again I will be so happy😄😄😄! I bet it’s over in another month. I hope🤞 it’s over in another month and not any longer than that. I want to go out and play in park or play centre.

Today, I am making preparations for my sunflower🌻 growing competition. I made a list of things to keep in mind.

How to grow the tallest sunflower🌻.

And Stephen came over to bring me a big bag of compost, a big flowerpot and lots of different ideas to make my Sunflower🌻 tall for the competition.

I am competing against Daddy👨 and his work. So I am making Sure to record my data and plant the biggest sunflower🌻.

I also had a nice chat with Nannie👩‍🦳 for a bit about the best flower growing tips. And I hope🤞mine is the biggest.

I started to write a letter to my teacher. This is the draft one.

The letter to my teacher.

Your letter is brilliant. I’m sure your teacher will be thrilled to receive it.
Here’s hoping Stevens hints about sunflower growing works. I’ll keep looking over my roof to see if I can see it!

  3. Hi Jacob, I see you are really wanting to get back to school, but I wonder how long it will be before you start saying ” I wish I could be home and playing with Sophia on an obstacle course”?
Good luck with your sunflowers, I hope you win, what will you get as a prize? I have never grown sunflowers so I’m afraid I cannot give you any tips.
Yes that is a very good letter, I’m sure your teacher will be impressed at all you have done.
