Friday 5th June

This sunny, cloudy day⛅️, I went to school🏫 again. I love❤️ school🏫 but sometimes, like today, people are mean to you. I got called🗣 names and got told off for no reason by a group of children🧒🧒. On the bright side, you get snacks🍫🍬🧁🍦 and you have fun😀 with your friends. Going to school🏫 is better than being at home🏠 as you get more exercise🏋️, can see👀 your friends and learn lots more.

I played out on my bike🚲 again with my friends today. We have a special garage we put our stuff in. It’s controlled by a little control. It has buttons up⬆️, down⬇️ and stop🛑.

I love❤️ my bike🚲.

I thought🧠 I’d do another poem

  1. My poem
    Ignore people who are mean
They are not worth a thought
Be kind to others as often as you can
Make the world a better place
    Through kindness and forgiveness
    Xxx

    Ignore people who are cruel
    Particularly those at school
Just smile and continue on your way
That’s the best way to enjoy your day

    Another poem 😂

It saddens me to hear that some of the children at your school were not nice. The advice Nanny gave you with her poem is very true and I like the line “Just Smile and continue on your way”. I have always enjoyed seeing you when we are together as you are such a friendly, happy youngster. Pleased you managed to play on your bike with local FRIENDS today. I had 0.7 tons of gravel delivered this morning so have been busy re-doing paths etc. Exhausted!!!

  3. Hi Jacob
Nanny & Grandad have given you the best advice. One thing this lockdown has taught us is that there are so many kind people in this world who go out of their way to be kind & help others. It is the minority who are thoughtless & unkind. As long as you know you have been kind to others you can know that you have done the right thing. If you smile as Nanny says & are not unkind back you can hold your head high. Remember all the good things you have enjoyed today & carry on having fun. Love Grandma xxx
